        Algoma U is home to over 1,200 students. We are large enough to offer diversity, with more than 25-degree options including unique programs in Computer Science, Business Administration, Fine Arts and Community Economic & Social Development. Algoma U is also small enough to offer a community where each person can find a place just for them!

     Algoma U is an affiliate college of Laurentian University; therefore, students study on the Algoma campus and graduate with a degree from Laurentian University. The "college" in our name signifies that we are an affiliate campus of a larger degree granting institution. We are a "college" of Laurentian. We do not offer diplomas.

With an average class size of 25, students gain the invaluable personal connections that help in their success.     成立于1960年，前身是一所学院，后舆劳伦森大学（Laurentian Univesity）合并，成为一独立大学学院。可授舆25种不同专业的大学本科学士学位。学生人数1000人左右。

◆申请者资格

    国内应届高三毕业生以上，年满17岁，高二，高三成积平均在70分，托福成绩550分。无托福成绩者可参加大学英语班（SPELL）。可获得有条例双录取资格。凡在IBUB国内修完商科类专业的两年学分，成绩优异者可申请该校，并可直接申请学分减免。

◆英语班开学时间

    每年9月，1月及6月。

◆费    用

    每年吃住学费约1万9千加币（10万人民币左右）

◆学校特色：

1、无托福收申请者，可获大学英语班及有条件专业双录取。

2、可在四周内取得大学入学通知书。

3、大专及大学在读申请者可获“学分转移”承认。

4、已获大本学历申请者，可快速取得“信息技术”或“计算机科学”第二本科学位。

5、小班制，学生教师比例为8：1。
